Reproach is no place to hide;
nor chimera reason to pray
for wreckage beached at neap-tide.
What matter who most sinned,
when parting is the time of day?
But turning, face the bitter wind.
Beyond, the solitary sands
reveal cleansed a causeway,
reaching out to farther lands.
